Location Zurich, Switzerland
Date September 30th to October 1st, 2017
Join us at [RustFest](http://zurich.rustfest.eu/), the community conference dedicated to [the Rust programming language](http://rust-lang.org/)! Over the weekend of September 30-October 1 we'll gather in [Zurich](http://zurich.rustfest.eu/location/) to talk Rust, its ecosystem and community. RustFest is split into two parts: a *"Conference day"*, where you can learn new and encouraging things about Rust from excellent speakers and a one-day *"Workshop day"*, where you can get play, work and explore Rust together with other people guided by knowledgeable mentors. The presentations cover a wide range of subjects and audiences, from beginner talks to case studies and advanced Rust topics. We believe in diversity and would like to provide support to people of many different backgrounds. This includes, but is not limited to, people who belong to one or more of the following groups: people of color, women, nonbinary and gender non-conforming people, disabled people, people with mental health issues, and LGBTQIA+ people. We offer free entrance to the event, plus a travel fund of at least 3000 Euros to be distributed among applicants according to need, which amounts to roughly 10% of the total conference budget. Keep an eye on rustfest.eu, follow our weekly updates on the [blog](http://blog.rustfest.eu/) and don't forget to [follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/rustfest)!
