Location Munich, Germany
Date January 15th to 17th, 2018
Description
[beyond tellerrand](https://beyondtellerrand.com) is an independent design and development event established in 2010 and organised by [Marc Thiele](https://marcthiele.com). Two days with talks about design, technology, development and much more. Networking is written in big letters as well. beyond tellerrand, the name of my event, is a mix of the English word “beyond” and the German word “Tellerrand”, which is the edge of a plate. In Germany you say _“Über den Tellerrand schauen”_ which translates to “Look over the edge of your plate”, meaning something like _“Think outside the box”_. That describes the aim of mixing different topics to have (_force!_) people to not only look at their day by day stuff, but also look left and right. It also is shown in the mix of topics at the event, where quite a lot is about web related stuff (mostly front end or “web design”), but spiced with a lot of interesting and inspiring other stuff too. ## Lineup for Munich 2018: - dina Amin - Nadieh Bremer - Robin Christopherson - Simon Collison - Carla Diana - Vitaly Friedman - Chris Heilmann - Mark Robbins - Harry Roberts - Stefan Sagmeister - Sara Soueidan - Marcy Sutton - Aoi Yamaguchi
