Location Rome, Italy
Date November 24th to 25th, 2018
Join us at [RustFest](https://rome.rustfest.eu/), the community conference dedicated to the Rust programming language! Over the weekend of November 24-25 we'll gather in Rome to talk Rust, its ecosystem and community. RustFest consists of two main parts: a "Conference day", where you can learn new and encouraging things about Rust from excellent speakers and a one-day "Workshop day", where you get to play, work and explore Rust together with other people guided by knowledgeable mentors. The presentations cover a wide range of subjects and audiences, from beginner talks to case studies and advanced Rust topics. Customarily there is also an (optional, free) "impl days" event after the weekend, dedicated to joint hacking and diving deeper into a project. Every event we work hard and do our best to ensure RustFest stays inclusive, [more diverse](https://rome.rustfest.eu/diversity/) and [accessible](https://rome.rustfest.eu/accessibility/). Among other things, we have been providing free diversity tickets & travel sponsorships to underrepresented people in tech to RustFest — this, of course, includes disabled people. The only change this year, is that we are also offering a dedicated ticket pool of up to 5 tickets and scholarship to disabled people in a form of our _"Disability Scholarship"_. This is a new effort to raise awareness and provide additional support to this group. Please read further in the "Application details" field for the descriptions of our scholarship offerings, and for updates on the conference keep an eye on our home page, follow our weekly updates [on the blog](https://blog.rustfest.eu/), [join the RustFest community](https://spectrum.chat/rustfest) on Spectrum and don't forget to [follow us on Twitter](https://twitter.com/rustfest)!
